About Kevin Sharp

My wife Joy and I have been happily married for many years and this reflects in my approach to marriage relationships as I believe the joining together of two people in marriage should become the most important and the greatest thing in your life.

Joy and I have had two sons and are grandparents to four grandchildren.  As a family we moved to Perth, Western Australia in 1970 when I was transferred from Adelaide in my employment at the time. This was one of the best things that could have happened to us as a family as we soon grew to love Perth and became involved in the community around us which has enabled us to create many precious friendships with a wide circle of people.

Although now retired from full time employment I still manage to keep very busy with all manner of things. Apart from the passion for my work as a Civil Marriage Celebrant I also play golf regularly (and quite badly) and whenever possible take myself off somewhere fishing, where at times I seem to have more luck than I do with golf. Other interests include wood working and gardening and I am a reasonably proficient home handyman. I also have a great interest in cooking and am a frustrated Master Chef as I am not allowed by Joy to enter into her kitchen domain as often as I would like, unless it is to do the dishes. My culinary skills therefore are mostly restricted to producing gourmet meals from the Weber barbecue.

I love life, friends and family and have an easy going disposition with the happy knack of making couples feel relaxed and at home during what some believe will be a stressful part of marriage preparation.
